Adult Students
We understand it can be tricky to find the time for music alongside work, life, and family obligations. To that end, we like to make things as easy as possible, offering lessons in your home, at our Hudson Heights studio, or at PianoPiano Rehearsal Studios, 37 W. 65th Street. Our adult students tend to prefer an hour long lesson which gives plenty of time to work on vocal exercises alongside repertoire of your choice. Bi-weekly lessons are possible.
HMS recognizes the individuality of each student and tailors each lesson accordingly. Over the years, we have worked with a diverse range of adult students, from young professionals pursuing music as dream, a hobby, or an antidote to working-life, all the way through to retirees who are desiring to master a new skill, or return to an old love.
Lessons are very much a collaboration between teacher and student as we strive together to achieve new musical and vocal heights.
